Meanwhile I have solved the problem (see my other mail). It seems that
Mandrake 9.1 has support for v4l2 (?) -- at least I am able to run
xawtv without error messages, but I still cannot watch TV:
The only thing which still is missing is the type of tuner I have to
add to modules.conf ("option tuner type=??") and maybe some options in
order to be able to listen to radio. Any hints where to find
information?
BTW, I have tried to patch the kernel, but without success:
