No, that is only a snapshot-version of the driver, the patch means a kernel patch, which is not included in the saa7134-snapshot.

I just did "make" and "make install" within the driver snapshot directory. As you can see above, lsmod shows the modules, but still the same error ("No such device") occures. :-(
I did not recompile the kernel, but actually I do not have to, right?

Depends. Usually you have to recompile the kernel, with the v4l2-patch applied. See http://bytesex.org/v4l/build.html for some details.
