All,

I have just installed a Hauppauge WinTV GO card and trying to gat it to work
with xawtv.
When I start xawtv it seems that the video is accessing the wrong area of
video memory in the display. I get lots of dots for several lines across
the whole display and no picture in the xawtv window. Can anyone point me in
the right direction to fixing this, has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks,

Dave
I had to start xawtv with the device=/dev/video0 cmdline option. I found that out by calling xawtv -hwscan. My ati card provides another device (by ati2 driver) which was otherwise
taken as default.
