Inclusion of the W996[87]CF driver in the kernel

Hello,

I'd like to ask for the inclusion of the W996[87]CF driver into the
official Linux kernel 2.5. It relies on the I2C, USB, V4L1 core modules
of the kernel and an external module, currently named "ovsensor.o",
which will be included in Linux 2.5 in the near future.

I don't know who I've to ask exactly. I start from this mailing list.

The driver can be found here: http://go.lamarinapunto.com .

I am preparing/synchronizing the code meanwhile: I removed the software
color conversion (to my disappointment). Now the problem is whether they
(the powers) will ask me to convert the /proc interface to sysfs: in
that case, if /proc is no longer allowed, I'd rather remove it
completely than converting to sysfs. Anyway, if sysfs is absolutely
necessary, I will be somehow compelled to add it.
