Re: Is a graphics board needed with WinTV?

Hi,
What is the role of the graphics board with the WinTV-GO? If we remove
the Nvidia, I realize xawtv and other playback software will no longer
work, but would video captures with, say, FFMPEG, still work?
All that you really have to do for asking to this question - just 5
minutes, screwdriver, and some options in /etc/lilo.config (like 'append
"console=/dev/ttyS0 CONSOLE=/dev/ttyS0"), /etc/inittab and BIOS setup -
for disabling BIOS test stop on graphical board's test :-)
