Hm, that's a suggestion, I haven't got the time to do muchy 3D stuff
anyway these days. I'll have a go at that.

I figured that one out ;) I guess this is one of the few times a Sid
user can get into serious problems X( (I never thought that Debian would
have disadvantages compared commercial distribs ;) )

I am gradually rebuiling my system to gcc 3.2, ...
