Hello

Here are some feedback from the latest kernel: 2.4.21-pre5.

First after a reboot when i try xwatv for the first time as normal user
I get this printed in the shell and only a black picture:

xawtv
This is xawtv-3.74, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.21-pre5)
/dev/video0: ioctl VIDIOCSFBUF: Operation not permitted
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway WARNING: v4l and dga disagree about the framebuffer base
WARNING: fbuf.base=(nil), dga=0xe8041000
WARNING: Is v4l-conf installed correctly?
WARNING: overlay mode disabled

Then if I start xawtv as normal user: xawtv -remote then it works
but the pictures are not updated so fast.

Then if I run xawtv as root thers is no problems at all.

And then if I start xawtv again as normal user, then xawtv
works ok but I get this printed in the shell:

xawtv
This is xawtv-3.74, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.21-pre5)
/dev/video0: ioctl VIDIOCSFBUF: Operation not permitted
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway

Kernel verion 2.4.20 did work without any problems,
