This is another big problem. If this happens you might have to replug the camera. I heard rumors that this might be caused by power overload on USB bus. Do you have other USB devices attached? Try removing them. Another good try would be to unload USB-audio module (it is likely not to work with the camera anyway). >usb.c: USB disconnect on device 2 You might also want to try qc-usb from http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~tuukkat/quickcam/qc-usb-cvs.tar.gz If it works it would work better than qce-ga (ie. mod_quickcam.o). But if qce-ga didn't work, I don't have big hopes that qc-usb works either. You might also want to try http://www.informatik.uni-oldenburg.de/~delwi/quickcam/quickcam-web.tar.gz (not very useful driver, but would be interesting to see if it works at all).
