It helps a lot. Now I get static on the audio so I guess I'm not done
yet. I noticed that whenever I remove ~/.xawtv and it goes through
"searching" for channels I get this:

scanning channel list us-cable...
1 ( 73.25 MHz): no station
2 ( 55.25 MHz): no station
3 ( 61.25 MHz): no station
4 ( 67.25 MHz): no station
...

I get good video, but static on the audio. I'll try fine tuning things,
but it would seem to me that I would get better audio on some channels
than others.

There's lies, damn lies, and then there's Microsoft's marketing.
