I just misunderstand the meaning of 'y' is 341y. I just think that there should a chip in MSP34[0-9]+Y which 'y' means a character 'Y'. Anyway, I am a newbie in kernel driver and electronic chips world. I really thank for your information. > > The application note has recommendations for radio setup (with > automatic sound select mode). Perhaps it gives stereo when treated like > this ? Yes, I think the chips can auto select the 'right' mode under any situation or signal. And, I believe the msp3400.o modules correctly setup the register under radio mode. (Of course, I've tried many combination but no luck). I will start look at the code in tuner.c for MT2032 next. Since, I found that some TV channels can be tune under WinXP but not Linux. Maybe the FM radio signal is not strong enough to make the MSP chips think it is in stereo mode. I hope I can get luck in tuner.c.... Or, do you have any idea or suggestion? I really a newbie in electronic chips world. Thanks.
