newbie witn RedHat 8.0 , matrox g400 , ( and english )

i would like to know why when i launch xawtv i receive  error no on
/dev/video0 no such driver

i have /dev/video0. can someone send me a website with an how-to for matrox
and xawtv.

my card is matrox g400 tv.

i'm sorry for my bad english. i like RH8 very much!
