Hi Ronald,

After a quick reboot, just to make sure everything is clean and
predictable:

 [root@localhost root]# v4l-conf -d :0 -c /dev/video0
 v4l-conf: using X11 display :0

 mode: 800x600, depth=24, bpp=32, bpl=3328, base=0xd4000000
 /dev/video0 [v4l2]: ioctl VIDIOC_QUERYCAP: Invalid argument
 /dev/video0 [v4l]: configuration done

Yields:

Why is base reported as 0x0? Could you give the dmesg output after
running v4l-conf only?
