There is a patch available for mplayer on the mplayer-dev-eng list: http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-dev-eng/2003-January/014792.html and http://mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-dev-eng/2003-January/014904.html It works for me quite good. Though I have another problem:) I'm using saa7134-0.2.4 with 2.4.20 kernel. When I load the module it says: saa7134[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] saa7134[0]: registered device vbi0 saa7134[0]: registered device radio0 When I used saa7134-0.1.11 with 2.4.19 it said: saa7134[0]: registered device video0 [v4l2] saa7134[0]: registered device vbi0 saa7134[0]: registered device radio0 saa7134[0]: registered device dsp2 saa7134[0]: registered device mixer1 So now I dont have the other dsp and the mixer. The funny thing is that xawtv works fine, it has sound and picture too but mplayer doesnt have sound. > > > > Same here. > > > > Same here. > > My 'old' mplayer-0.90pre10-1 grabs tv on 2.4.19-v4l2-0.1.11.
