Can the cards produce MPEG transport streams, and if so are you
planning to support the Linux DVB API? Although the support of the DVB
API may not be important for recording it can be very helpful for
playback, especially for transport streams that need demmuxing which
would typically come from DVB cards without their own MPEG decoder.
