Hi,

I have installed a Pinnacle PCTV card in my Linux box (RH8, Linux 2.4.20). The picture is good, xawtv works, I can change channels, etc, but I do not have sound. I have the same problem with MythTV.

I tried both card=52 and card=39. I always get a good picture but no sound.

card=52 is wrong and would explain silence.

So
- Don't use any "card=" in modules.conf
- Directly connect active speakers (or headphone) to Line Out
- optionally: upgrade to bttv-0.7.103 (then even tuner will be autodetected)

Does it work?
