Hi there, I am relatively new to Linux and am trying to get a tuner card installed. It is the Leadtek Winfast tv2000xp deluxe card. My video card is an ATI All in Wonder. I am in Canada and have cable. I have tried Mandrake 9 and Redhat 8 distributions and just cannot seem to get it to work. I have read as much as I can on v4l, bttv, xawtv etc and am probably really close but seem to be missing something. Included below are the contents of config files etc. >From dmesg: (edited) Linux version 2.4.19-16mdk (quintela@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) (gcc version 3.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.0 3.2-1mdk)) #1 Fri Sep 20 18:15:05 CEST 2002 256MB LOWMEM available.
