Hello,
I am trying to set up my Logitech Quickcam driver under Linux. I have
done it before, so I know it is possible. I am using qce-ga-0.40c with
V4L as the drivers, and will eventually use gqcam as my capture
application. /var/log confirms the device is registered:

However, there is simply no /dev/video or /dev/video0 file. I believe
it is either supposed to always be there, or be created upon plugging in
of the camera. I have Dejagoogled and am unable to find a fix for this
problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Yours Truly,
