Ok, I have found the problem. Anyone who has a bug or problem with bttv/video sound should definitely read this: Ville Syrjälä had suggested that it might have something to do with the mixer. I checked the mixer and all the settings were un-muted, so I figured it was ok. So long as I *didn't* load es1371 after boot everything was fine, but after loading es1371 sound would stop working, even if I un-loaded it right after loading. Well, as Ville suggested the problem was with the mixer. However, it turns out the problem is I have to MUTE the PhoneOut line. So long as that is muted, everything works. Go figure. Anyone have an explanation of this?? --Paul On Thu, 11 Jul 2002, Eric Jorgensen wrote: > On Thu, 04 Jul 2002 18:29:40 -0400 > paul@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > > > Hi: I have the following problem and just wanted to know if you've ever heard > > of it before: After boot, xawtv and bttv will work fine (sound, video). > > However, if I load my es1371 module then the video works but no sound.
