I've browsed through the audio section debugging info - I can't see anything different when a channel sound is just noise opposed to correct audio. I don't get the video problem tho - just audio. Is there some way to make the fullscreen mode (with xawtv/motv) true fullscreen even in overlay mode? It seems to max out at 800x600 over a fullscreen black background. Not important - just curious. > So... as Dave mentioned is his reply to this email, it seems the only > remaining problem lies with the occasional static/blackouts which we > suspect are related... Agreed - it's be nice to get this sorted out - nothing worse than scheduling a recording of some movie or whatnot on TV only to find you've got 2 hours of noise in the sound track :( However, I'm more than happy with the progress made so far - excellent work. Thank you to everyone who's worked on it. Oh, yeah, then there's the remote control... ;) Cheers, Dave.
