USB based video/audio capture?

I have used dvgrab to capture ieee dv video/audio with great success. Now
I'm wondering if anybody has managed to get any USB capture solutions to
work. I'm interested in something that is lower cost than dv/ieee stuff. I
scanned the web to see if there was a driver for the Dazzle DVC 50 or 80 but
couldn't find anything. Anyways, that's the sort of thing I'm looking for.
It seems like there are plenty of WebCams that are supported, but I need to
capture composite video from various sources. Leads, anybody?
