I think Russell said that it did.  The NVrec code should automatically
resample the audio anyway from the read 32000 to the target 44100 anyway.

The sound may not be that good as NVrec's resampler isn't too
sophisticated - intended for very slight resampling rather than something
drastic.  But give it a try.
