This is very uncommon. So just would have to find your tuner by trial and error.

There are 3 fundamental tuner types:
- Temic Programming (older tuners)
- Philips Programming (most)
- LG newer Programming (some new tuners)
(Note: LG and Temic are making philips compatible series too!)

The PAL tuners look the same from progamming view point
No need to try NTSC or SECAM).

By chance a scanner ? Just scan the card on the platter.
BTW. this card is not explicitly supported by bttv.

Firstly we need to know the picture ("insmod bttv card=0" for generic support):
a) completely blue  --> this means no signal !
    ===> Try the other video sources from "xawtv" until you come to (b) !!!!
b) Snowy picture (parts can still be blue)
    ==> Get the tuner and the frequency right.
    (Of course you need a customized card entry if you came from (a)
