Pulled down the rpm checked the man page.

OK. Not sure how old the version in the RPM is,

1.9.2

but I am using CVS.
Seems much better than the last release... here anyways. I had a/v
sync problems with the last actual release that I don't have any
longer. It may certainly be something else that has changed between
then and now, but I like using the CVS version of mp1e all the same.
:-)

I guess I'll have to take the cvs spin..

I've tried to create an mpeg file, but always end up with a zero size file.

Do you get any output at all? Does it look like it's writing frames?
You should get a constantly updating status line at the bottom of the
output.

Nothing really, it returns immediately. If I don't attempt to send the stdout to a file, I get nothing. If I use -v I get: 'Tests passed.'

Send us the command line you are using and the output you are getting.

I've tried a number of variations all with the same results. I tried to let it use the defaults, same results. Here's a few attempts:

mp1e -G 320x240 -v > foo.mpg
mp1e -v > foo.mpg
mp1e -m3 -a0 > foo.mpg

Iv'e got a wintv card that I'm successfully using to watch tv as well as camera input.

Well, you should be able to record with mp1e then.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
