Hi,

I also have some installation problems with RH7.2 and linux 2.4.7. I have
a P4 system. I have installed RH 7.2 with linux
2.4.7-10. After booting the system, if I do modprobe bttv the following
messages are printed:

/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: init_module: No
such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod bttv
failed

Trying insmod i2c modules also give the following errors:
Using /lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/i2c/i2c-algo-bit.o
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/i2c/i2c-algo-bit.o: unresolved symbol
i2c_del_adapter_R97e1c952
/lib/modules/2.4.7-10/kernel/drivers/i2c/i2c-algo-bit.o: unresolved symbol
i2c_add_adapter_Rd50a523b

Should I use a different version of the linux kernel for RH7.2?

Thanks in advance,
Thenmozhi
