Tat Chee, earlier you wrote your tuner is TCL2002BM-1 and you usw LG_PAL_NEW_TAPC(tuner=37).
(can you re-check if it reads "...MB" or really "...BM"?)
Do you have the optional remote control (e.g. LVA001 microcontroller above saa713x)?

My FV3K (w/FM w/IR Tuner:TCL2002MB-1F) has:
 saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.1.5 loaded
 saa7134[0]: found at 00:11.0, rev: 1, irq: 5, latency: 32, mmio: 0xe4000000
 saa7134[0]: subsystem: 1131:0000, board: LifeView FlyVIDEO3000
 saa7134 initial gpio_mode = 00000000
 saa7134: initial gpio_state = 00031000
Here PHILIPS_PAL(tuner=5) works fine.

So it seems these TCL2002MB tuners come in different flavours.

Gerd, can you apply the GPIO printk patch ?
I modified Tat Chee's patch to unconditionally print the info, we can make
this silent (i.e. dprintk) later, when we have enough data !

Robert, you reported you have a FV3000 and use tuner=37. Can you apply this patch,
as I would be very interested in your GPIO (and wether you have FM and remote control chip).

Marco, your data would be valuable, too.

Regards, Gunther
