Since upgrading from the 2.2.16 kernel, my TV app locks up the machine on startup. Is this bit of instability a known issue and would the newer bttv or the kernel patches on bytesex.org alleviate this particular problem? Unfortunately, it is difficult to step back to the 2.2.16 kernel, and my TV watching season has just recently restarted again. -- William Burrow -- New Brunswick, Canada
