Pointing the way to a beginner

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi;

I'm a linux newbie, a convert from windows. I have been using Suse 7.2 for the last
few months and I took the plunge into Red Hat 7.2 this evening.

I've noticed that unlike Suse, Red Hat did not install video4linux, kradio, and
kwintv for me! :).

I really liked kradion and kwintv.

Can anyone point the way as far as what I need to do to install and get kradio and
kwintv to run on Red Hat 7.2?

What do I need?
Where I can get it?
Will I need to compile my own apps? Are their guides that tell newbies how to do
this?

Thanks for any help in advance

Steve
