You know the internet runs on this GPL software, and there are countless GNU/Linux boxes, Apache servers, sendmail users, Perl hackers, etc., out there, and their designers and users have not posted quaking retreat letters and run away to the safe confines of commercial software. In fact it's hard to imagine how giving away your work with a "no promises, use at your own risk" license invites more of a lawsuit than producing video software for a fee. Unless the Broadcast 2000 folks have gone off to do waiter work instead (oops, don't spill that coffee). Anyway, this is a very good video list - let's return to that and discuss the trials and tribulations of software development somewhere else. -- Bill Eldridge Radio Free Asia bill@xxxxxxx
