Bought a less-broken spell-checker?

In all of his/her public announcements, there's
a bit of anger/dogmatism and curious secrecy,
so this is just par for the course. (For the longest
time there was some long diatribe on the old site
about how hard/impossible it was to make a living
as a software engineer (during the internet boom)).

Anyway, the idiosyncracy has always made me want
to keep a bit of distance, but the codes' available
and GPL if anyone wants to bite/continue it.
