What happened people? Who does the development for the se401 driver (kensington svga webcam)? I had temp loaned out my kensington svga webcam for about a month. Back then I think I was using kernel 2.4.8. I am currently on kernel 2.4.17. My video using the xawtv driver was up until the latest xawtv (3.70) off color for both my Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000 webcam and the other camera. In gnomemeeting both webcams worked great up until the past two weeks. Two weeks ago, I upgraded both of my computers to Linux Mandrake 8.2 beta2. Now, I have no clue what happened from Linux Mandrake 8.1 to Linux Mandrake 8.2 beta2 but the use of all control options in xawtv and gnomemeeting diminished to only two for the kensington (whiteness and brightness only). I still have all options for the Logitech webcam. Anybody have any idea or answers as to while this is currently the case. The kensingtom camera shows an image in deep red. With the Logitech webcam, the color white has a tinge of yellow at night. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. That is all I have to say at time. Take care and thanks in advance for any information relating to my questions.
