hello, I have the PCVC740K (toucam pro from philips), and it works fine. Actually, I cannot reach the beauties said by Philips (60 fps, 1024*768 in snapshot...) but i think it is only a question of programming. I can capture pictures regularly at about 25fps, in 320*200, and print them on screen with svgalib. It works well. For my application (used for a robot, to recognize spheres...), it is enough, but for true video, the quality may be poor... Anyway, I think it is a very good cam. Moreover, you have a led (easily controlled !) and a microphone. For more explanations, don't think twice : ask me !! Vincent
