Hi Roger,

Have you tried xawtv version 3.68?
xawtv version 3.69 (and 3.70) also crash with me with the bttv driver
(version 0.7.x) I use at home. xawtv version 3.68 works without any 
problems in my configuration.
At work I use an xawtv version 3.65 with the SAA7134 driver without any
problems
