Intel Smart Video Recorder III

Hi,

I am looking for some assistance in configuring an Intel Smart Video
Recorder III. I am running Red Hat Linux 7.2, which already had bttv and
video4linux set up. However, when I try to run a tv viewing software, xawtv
or kwintv for example, all I am getting is a blue screen. I do not believe
the ISVR III has a tuner chip on it and am subsequently running cable into a
VCR and then into the card.
Here are the settings from /etc/modules.conf:

alias char-major-81 bttv
alias char-major-81-1 bttv
options bttv card=4 pll=1
options tuner debug=0 type=4

I have tried pll=1 and pll=0 with no luck. I have also tried setting the tv
software to input types of composite and composite 1 with no luck and almost
every channel. If anyone is familiar with this product and can lend any
assistance I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Brian
