I really WANT to learn Linux, honest, but > there just seems to be a shortage of info on the DC10+ and I'm sure > other video capture card configurations in Linux. linux != windows. Installing drivers that aren't in the kernel yet is different from installing drivers in windows (the zoran drivers are in the kernel but there's a different saa7110 module, so the driver only works for the Buz, currently). As far as I know, there ís no documentation about the DC10+ except what's written on Serguei's homepage (http://www.cicese.mx/~mirsev/Linux/DC10plus). Everything is basically handled on the malinglist. For more info on DC10+ (questions, etc.), please subscribe to the mjpeg-users@xxxxxxxxxxxx mailinglist on http://sf.net/projects/mjpeg and ask there.
