[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm building a new Linux machine for my wife for Christmas.

One of the items in the spec is TV palying.

I have a machine witha WinTV card in it that I use to play TV, so I looked
around to see what was available. Yikes, more choices/prices than I know
what to do wiht. Proces range from $49 -> $299.

Could some kind soul explain what the choices are, and which of the
advanced features are supported in Linux?

The PVR model looks interesting, is it well supported?

Or would I be better off goin with say an ATI All In Wonder?

I plan on using an ATI Radeon LE video card, if that matters.
