The right place?

I'm not a developer, don't know c, c++, or much about linux. I'm trying
to become a linux user - to transition from the evil empire. I've had
pretty good luck with linux so far - I'm using Mandrake 7.2. But I have
an Intel PC Camera Pack camera that I'd really like to use - primarily
as a replacement for my current NetMeeting one-to-one video/audio
communications - under linux. I found the OpenH323 folks, and have used
openphone successfully with Windows 98. But I haven't been able to get
started with ohphone under linux. I can establish a connection, but
can't seem to get audio or video across in either direction.
This forum appears to be primarily for developers, and if that is the
case I'm probably in the wrong place. But before I leave, can you point
me in the right direction?
Thanks - I appreciate any help.
Doug
