I have been working with these for several months. Unfortunately, last time I spoke with Hauppauge, they intended the VCB units for OEM sales only. On ther other hand; If you had a way of pulling 5fps from each composite input, you'd still only have 15fps worth of bandwidth going to the disk, which would be quite reasonable, especially using mjpeg encoding like Lokigames and XawTV does.
