Can you?

My understanding is that where an overlay is used you'll get a nice virulent purple or bright 
blue image, not the video.

I guess if your Xv is blitting directly into video memory that would 
work but why use Xv if you're happy with an unscaled fast blit xawtv 
-noxv makes more sense.
