help with btaudio and Osprey

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I am trying to use btaudio with two Osprey 210 capture cards. I have followed the instructions on the ftp://ftp.ospreyvideo.com/pub/OSP-200/Linux/rc3/INSTALL page. I can compile and modprobe both btaudio and bttv. However, when I use RealNetworks Helix Producer to output the available devices, I get this for audio:

Device 01: /dev/dsp1 (device unavailable)

Device 02: /dev/dsp2 (device unavailable)

This is without any software connected to it. I am running SuSE 8.2.

Does anyone have other suggestions for debugging? I am not really sure how to view these devices in other ways that using Helix Producer, so that is a start. Does anyone have success using SuSE 8.2 with these cards?

Thanks in advance,
Chris
