Hello, saa7134.o seems to depend on ir-common.o, and ir-common.o seems to depend on something else, but I really don't know what: root@dionyssus:/video/src/video4linux# modprobe saa7134 /lib/modules/2.4.22/v4l2/ir-common.o: unresolved symbol input_event_Rsmp_ad3eb568 /lib/modules/2.4.22/v4l2/ir-common.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.22/v4l2/ir-common.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.22/v4l2/ir-common.o: insmod saa7134 failed can anyone explain me what I did wrong in the configuration of the kernel? it's the first time I took the efford of building v4l2 in the kernel: I used kernel 2.4.22 and kernel patches: 19_videodev25-2.4.22.diff 20_v4l2-2.4.22.diff.gz I downloaded video4linux-20031114.tar.gz for this. what does the ir-common.o do? is it something with infrared? remote control?
