I am a bit unclear where this module will send the sound: direct to the audio out of the TV card, or will it be available via ALSA? I tried both. On the TV card's audio out, I get tons of static when xawtv is running. I have seen that some cards require download of code to get sound. This dod not seem to be the case here.
