I have been using logitech quick cam express for few years now
(pictures and live snapshots can be seen on my web page, url bellow)
I use the qce-ga kernel module (http://qce-ga.sourceforge.net) and
it works fine.  

One thing I could add, and could help future users,
is that the source of the module does not compile on rh9.0, and a
patch to fix that can be found at http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~tuukkat/quickcam/
this is because RH have changed some functions' prototype of the "their" 
kernel source.

I should add though, that the patch is not needed if the module 
is compiled against an official kernel release (2.4.21 in my case).
