Hi, 
  Modprobe tuner and bttv driver modules as follows. 
 
 modprobe tuner type=5 debug=1   (for PAL) 
 modprobe bttv card=37 audiomux=1  
 
"audiomux=1" is when the audio o/p of tv tuner card is connected to 
the line in of sound card. 
 
try this one out.
