Ok. Then it should be confirmed that I have some sort of problem - thanks :)

I was beginning to suspect my card is a mono-card (but since it's a 7134, it's
not).

Wow, I have *exactly* the same problem! Crackling and noise at 48kHz, but
clean sound at 32kHz. Is it possible that some aspect of the driver doesn't
work properly with the TerrraTec line of cards? (does Gerd Knorr read this
list?)

Actually, I have just tried the VERY latest snapshot (3-4 days old), and it's
the same problem.

What I'm really hoping for, is that someone has a simple solution for stereo @
48000 Hz, but I'm known to be a dreamer ;-)

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer, it's nice to know that I'm
not the only one with this driver :)
