As far as I'm aware only 8 bit is supported, the lower 2 bits of a 10 bit source are stripped.

Unfortunately I don't have access to an audio source for the sdi input but there is some connector on the back of the daughter board for it (possibly a lookback). There is also an internal audio connection but I haven't played with that either.
