Hauppage WinTV PCI Problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've got some problems with the setup of my tv-card (hauppage wintv pci, bt878)

1.
The sound is very low, I have my input/output on 90% and the stereo on 70% to be able to even hear the sound.
The soundcard i'm using is the onboard of Aopen MK33 motherboard (VIA Technologies, Inc. VT82C686 AC97 Audio Controller).
I would like to get the sound via my dxr3 too, but for now I just want to hear the sound, dont care how ;).
Cant i use the btaudio devices somehow?. I tried to use them by adding adevice=/dev/dsp2, but i diden't get any sound att al after that :/

btaudio: Bt878 (rev 17) at 00:08.1, irq: 10, latency: 32, mmio: 0xe7101000
btaudio: using card config "default"
btaudio: registered device dsp1 [digital]
btaudio: registered device dsp2 [analog]
btaudio: registered device mixer1

2.
I'm not too saticfied with the picture either. Can I finetune the channels somehow?
I dont have X on the computer btw, so I cant use any X programs to scan/tune the channels

Can anyone please help me, or atleast give me some pointers.
