Cinergy 400 (saa7134) problem with sound

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I've been trying to get sound working on my TV card, but all I get is a very short crack from my speaker when I load the saa7134 module. Line out is directly connected into my monitor speaker for testing. This setup is working with windows.

I'm using a plain vanilla kernel 2.4.21 and the latest snapshots for v4l2 and saa7134. Everything seems to work perfectly fine, except sound!

It seems that audio isn't activated or unmuted for some reason. With volume all the way up I hear some static noise from my monitor speaker. When I load the modules all the noise is gone immediately. Suggestions anyone? Tia.

Here's a picture (80kB) of the TV card if anyone is interested: http://www.koorenneef.nl/cinergy400.jpg

Here's some output from loading the module:
