Thanks, When I change the resolutions and reboot, the system comes up with a
garbled screen and I have to re-install RH to fix (well that's the only way
I know how to fix it).

it should allow u to set higher resolutions, just read how to
configure Xs, check out /etc/X11R6/XFree86-Config
