Sounds a bit like the frequency difference between the video and audio carriers is wrong. Normally this depends on the broadcast standard being used, eg: 5.5Mhz for PAL B/G, 4.5Mhz for NTSC, 6.0Mhz for PAL I. 'Fraid it looks like you need to talk to that TDA9885 chip again to set this properly. Good luck, Barry.
