Assuming that's the chip thats in there, is it already supported in 
conjunction with bttv, or does something need to be ported?
I don't see that in the list of supported tuners.

Okay, I didn't read the whole datasheet, but I was under the impression 
that it could perform both functions.... (I'm not a TV

.... so if the tda9885 doesn't do the tuning, what function does this 
kernel module perform? Just curious. =) 

Anyway, let me go grab the latest bttv and try it with the tda9887 
module. I'll report back if anything interesting happens.
